As most of you probably know, tomorrow (4/22) is Earth Day. There are a bunch of freebies, giveaways, and happenings going on to observe it.
Here's some of the best ones I could find.....(I tried my best to "verify" these, but for stores you may want to call ahead to see if your store's participating). These are all Wednesday, 4/22 unless notes otherwise.
LOCAL:
~ If "local" for you is CA, DC, FL, IL, SC, or VA - check out this Earth Day 2009 Calendar and enter your location to see if there are events going on near you.
~ Local (ish) to me is Grand Rapids, MI and they have free events (movies, music, food, etc.) planned all week and you can find them HERE.

Rechargeable Batteries - While this isn't a freebie, I thought it was worth mentioning. Today only, Dillyeo.com is offering USB powered rechargeable batteries for $6.97 (+$2 shipping). They can be recharged 800-1000 times and it's as easy as plugging it into a USB port.
FREE Reynolds Wrap 100% Recycled Foil - Starting tomorrow at 4:22am, a Mail-in-Rebate form will be available to download and send in to get a roll for free. I don't believe you have to buy the foil on the 22nd, just get the form - quantities are limited. "Each Official Mail-in Rebate Form downloaded on 4/22/09 will be marked with a unique scrambled code, which may only be submitted for redemption once. Do not share, copy, disseminate, or distribute the downloaded Official Mail-in Rebate form as only the first submitted unique scrambled code will be honored."
