Rite-Aid - Coupon Policy Change!

Rite-Aid has made a change to their current coupon policy - for the worse in my opinion.  As of today (5/25/11) you can now no longer use "BOGO" coupons in conjunction with a "BOGO" sale, getting both products free.   (If I was teetering about whether or not to make a weekly trip to Rite-Aid, that kind of deal would often tip the scales!)

Also, it now states "Rite Aid may accept up to 4 identical coupons for the same number of qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers within the store manager’s sole discretion."

The BOGO change is the real bummer, I think.  It was a really simple way to combine a store sale, plus a coupon to get a great easy deal.  Rite-Aid is still my favorite store to get great deals, but I'm hoping they don't go the way of Walgreens and make things ridiculously difficult and lose customers.

Rite-Aid's November Video Values coupons available

If you haven't been taking advantage of Rite-Aid's Video Values coupons on their website, they can be quite a good source of savings.  They often correspond to sales and can be stacked with manufacturers coupons too - so they can make for some very sweet deals!

It works by watching videos about products and with each video you watch you earn a coupon for the item and credits.  When you get 20 credits, you also get a $4 off $20 coupon that can be used on top of any other coupons you have.   November's coupons are available on the site from 10/24/10-11/27/10 and the coupons are good from 10/24/10-12/25/10.

Rite-Aid Weekly Deals ~ 9/13 - 9/19

I don't see much in my Rite-Aid ad, so I'm going to suggest you check out Hip2Save's post for this week's deals.  And MakingCentsOfSavings has a couple good scenarios too.  Rite-Aid's deals vary a lot by region, so check your ad or online to see if the deals they mention are going on in your area.

My favorite deal is the Johnson's Baby Care sale.  You can possibly get 10 items for free and quite a bit towards Rite-Aid's "Gift of Savings" program! "Gift of Savings" is kind of a bonus on top of the Single Check Rebates.  Between 9/13 and 10/17 you enter your receipts online just like you do for the SCR's and you get RA gift certificates back up to $20 depending on how much you spend from now until Oct. 17th.

I believe the last couple years they've also done the same kind of thing just before Christmas, so they may run another promotion like this later too.

Rite-Aid Clearance Finds and Wrap-Up for 4/15/12! Saved 80%!

I haven't seen anything crazy good at Walgreens or Rite-Aid over the last couple weeks, so I haven't been doing any match-ups for the blog.  This Sunday though I had $6 in +UP Rewards that expired, so I had to make a Rite-Aid run.  I found some unadvertised goodies I thought I'd share!

You can start printing April's Video Values coupons beginning March 27th and through April 23rd (they'll expire May 28th).
