Staples has been running a promotion for a few weeks offering 20 packs of Duracell batteries (AA or AAA) for free after Staples Rewards**.  Just in time for all those batteries you need around Christmas time!!  The cashier told me yesterday that they would be continuing this until December 31st or until supplies run out - and they had oodles of batteries at the store I visited!  You can get 2 packages per week for free.

**If you're not familiar with Staples Rewards program or Easy Rebates, here are some details.........
"Staples Rewards" - Rewards are like coupons for store credit that are mailed quarterly (as long as you've earned $10 or more).  You sign up for free and are given a Rewards card, which they scan at checkout (or look up by phone number).  That's it!  No mailing or submitting necessary - just look for the Rewards in your mailbox w/in the next few months.  (They do expire, but my store still honors them so it's good to ask!)
One membership per mailing address. They have brochures in the store, and you can sign up online.  They always offer 10% back in Rewards when you buy any ink or toner, case paper, ream paper, Copy and Print, and $3 back in Rewards when you bring in any ink or toner to recycle (up to 10 per month).

"Easy Rebates" - they can be submitted online and they really are easy. Just fill out the online form at StaplesEasyRebates.com with the information from your receipt.  You should get the amount back within 4-6 weeks. It's in the form of a postcard check, unless specified that it's in a Visa Prepaid Debit card.
