This is a super deal if your store has it in stock!! Toys R Us has the Toy Story 3 Operation game on sale for only $1 this week - no coupons needed!! (It was priced at $20 at Target, so that's a huge savings!!) Wonderful deal to have on hand for birthdays, Christmas, toy drives like Toys For Tots, etc.!
They also have some other Hasbro games on sale for $5 -- Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, Memory, Cootie, Buckaroo, and Hi-Ho Cherry-o.
To make it even better, they're offering a FREE $10 Gift Card with ANY total Hasbro purchase of $35 or more, or a $15 GC with any $50 purchase!
Keep in mind that Walmart, Target, Meijer, and Menards all price match....so if they carry the game, you may have a better chance of getting one by bringing in the ad to get it there! Walmart's Ad Match Guarantee doesn't require that you have the ad with you, but I like to have it with me to make it easier. You obviously can't get the gift card deal if you PM, but you may be able to get the game!
Our TRU store was sold out by 11am Sunday morning, but I've heard now that reportedly they are substituting the "The Game of Life – 50th Anniversary Edition", so that may be worth asking about. We headed over to Target (to price match it) where I was able to put a couple in my cart, but before we left the store, a woman bought an entire cartful of the game! My friend wanted to go back and get one, but the shelf was cleared. So whether you can find one or not may depend on your area, and how people shop.
