Have you heard of the Softcup? It's an alternative to tampons and maybe this is TMI, but I love it! I was already thinking about telling you about this product just because I like it that much! But then I was thrilled to come across this FREE Softcup Sample to tell you about too!
*Edit: Apparently the link I posted above was not for freebie sites to share. Sorry about that! It will still take you to their site though, and you can get a sample pack and only pay shipping. That's still a great deal as my 2 have lasted me for a very long time!
I save so much by not having to buy tampons, I can wear it longer, and things are fresher. You can read more about it and the benefits here. They say they're disposable, but I reuse mine and have gotten tons of use out of just 2!
*You must be 13 years or older to participate in this sample. While supplies last. 1 per household. US only. Allow 8-10 weeks for delivery.

About three years ago I read about these (the brand name I was recommended is 'Diva Cup') and being a survivalist, thought it was a wonderful idea. A way to manage a woman's monthly niddah without waste, a need for further product or risk of toxic shock syndrome? It sounded worth the try!
I actually drove over into the mystical and elusive Easttown to a herbal store to get one. It took a few months for me to get the hang of it, but I love it - it's wonderful! This version looks a little more - disposable? - than the heavier duty 'Diva Cup', but I don't know. Definitely recommend people try it.
I really appreciate your feedback Anna! I've heard of the brand name "Diva Cup" too and they sound very similar. I got my two "samples" not too long after I posted this, and now that I'm pregnant I won't need them for a while, but I definitely agree with you and recommend them!
