I've had people tell me that they don't see the value of coupons, because they don't think you can get healthy foods that way. Well, I've got $20 of free Jennie-O turkey that says otherwise.
A few months ago Jennie-O gave away "$5 off any Jennie-O product" coupons. We were able to get two and this week Plumb's had Jennie-O ground turkey products (reg. priced at $4.99) "Buy 1, Get 1". So I bought four for free!!
There are certainly a lot of coupons for processed food items too, but if you're looking for healthy things, they are there. And if you use coupons (and sales and rebates) to save money on non-food items we all use (shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, razors, etc.) you'll have much more to spend where you need to.
